Join expert Lucy Starling for an inspiring walk and talk on the birds and birdsong from Sydney Gardens to Bathampton.


The walk will focus on birds but there may be the odd butterfly species. Good for beginners to learn common garden species like Dunnock and Wren.

Resident birds that could be seen, Buzzard, Raven, Kestrel, Kingfisher, possibly Little Egret.


Linear level walk along towpath, possibly along Tyning Road and across Bathampton railway crossing into Bathampton Farm Field.


Toilet and drink stop will be made at The George on way back to Sydney Gardens.
