About

Roseberry Road Studios are delighted to be presenting the work of London based artist Judith Brenner, in a solo show entitled BodyScapes in our main gallery this spring.

BodyScapes is a new collection of work in which Judith strives to convert the energy, emotion and movement that the human body generates especially through the moving body in dance, into the physical journey of paint on canvas or paper to take her in and out of the picture plane in the way one might use choreography.

Judith's abstract paintings use the notion of alchemy to respond to her environment and life experiences on a search for strength and freedom. She channels the immediacy directly from the life model of mark-making, sketches and collage into abstraction.
