Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending, a beloved classic, perfectly embodies the spirit of the English countryside, capturing the graceful essence of the Sky Lark. Likewise, Einaudi's compositions, from the refreshing and evocative Petricor (the smell of rain) to the introspective I Giorni, offer a poignant journey through nature's moods. To complete the programme, Astor Piazzolla's exhilarating tango, Summer, brings a lively, emotional and uplifting finale to this celebration of music and nature.
