Join the American Museum's Chief Curator, Kate Hebert, to find out more about the new exhibition Myths & Memories: Renaissance Maps, which showcases the Musuem's world-renowned map collection.

Kate will share stories about the unique items on display in the show and information about how the new curation was achieved. As well as discussing some of the challenges of presenting the collection items in a new light, that breaks away from the established narrative of 'New World discovery', Kate will share some of the original collector's anecdotes about the rare Renaissance maps you'll be able to see when you visit.

This is a free talk to enhance your visit. Normal admission to the American Museum & Gardens applies.
