Saturday 19 October sees a celebration of the 70th anniversary of HIM Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia, receiving the Freedom of the City of Bath, where he lived at Fairfield House from 1936 to 1941.

The event will take place at the National Trust Assembly Rooms from 11am - 8pm, where Fairfield House will host a free, day-long festival to mark the Emperor's 70th anniversary as Freeman of the City of Bath.

Expect food, music, dance, and culture from the Rastafari, Ethiopian and BEMSCA communities of Fairfield House.
