About
Roman games, hidden flower hunts and even a goddess beside the Great Bath await families at The Roman Baths this May half term.
From 23–31 May, the world‑famous site bursts into bloom with Mission Floralia, a brand new, hands‑on family experience inspired by the Roman festival of Floralia, which celebrated flowers, crops, and new life.
Children are invited to become festival helpers on a playful mission through the Baths and Museum, taking on creative challenges, mastering Roman games, crafting colourful creations and searching for hidden flowers along the way. Young helpers can even meet Goddess Flora herself - before being rewarded with sunflower seeds to plant at home, keeping the spring celebrations going long after their visit.
Included in admission price.
Archaeology Adventures
From 26 - 29 May, Archaeology Adventures invites budding diggers to unearth replica Roman artefacts in a purpose-built trench using real excavation techniques (£6 per child, in addition to entry).
