About

Curated by filmmaker Nia Childs, Uncommon Voices: Exploring Class in New British Cinema brings together a powerful programme of short films reflecting contemporary working-class experience. Blending documentary and fiction, the films offer thoughtful perspectives on class, identity and representation in modern British cinema.

The screening will be fully subtitled and followed by a discussion and Q&A with Nia Childs. This project was commissioned by Film Hub Wales, who oversee Socio-Economic Inclusion on behalf of BFI FAN.
