On July 6th and August 3rd, from 10am to 12pm, young participants will delve into the world of photography portraits. Guided by skilled instructors, they'll have the opportunity to practice photography while learning about Georgian portraits. From experimenting with both old and new cameras to taking photographic portraits inspired by the paintings in No.1 Royal Crescent, children will discover how portraits reflected the fashion and style of the era. They'll even create their own modern-day versions using costumes and props to add a contemporary twist.

While each session covers similar concepts, attendees are welcome to book for both or choose one that piques their interest. Those joining the July workshop will have the exciting opportunity to have their portraits exhibited at both No.1 Royal Crescent and the Holburne Museum.
