About the Writer

Libby Foot is an emerging creative writer and poet from the South West. A copywriter by profession, she has been writing poetry and fiction for many years. Recently, she was selected as the Writer in Residence for No.1 Royal Crescent’s exhibition “The Most Tiresome Place in the World”: Jane Austen & Bath. A keen Austen fan, Libby created a poetry collection for the exhibition that explores themes of outsiderhood, peripheral spaces, and women’s roles in Georgian society. She looks forward to facilitating creative workshops and helping others tell stories through poetry.
