About

Join The Grapes for a mesmerising evening of acoustic blues, where the past meets the present in a whirlwind of hypnotic rhythms, intricate melodies, and rich vocal harmonies. Featuring the exceptional talents of The Spoonful, this intimate live session is not to be missed.

The Spoonful is a trio of seasoned musicians who bring a fresh take on traditional blues, blending deep, soulful tones with some wild flights of fancy. Their unique style, described as "hypnotic tribal blues," weaves together influences from the Mississippi Delta, folk traditions, and modern improvisation. With Simon Grimes (The Gaulois Brothers) on Dobro, guitar, and vocals, Zac Ware (The Proclaimers) on guitar, mandolin, and vocals, and Will Hitchings (Dub Caravan) on bass, their performances are known for their raw energy, deep grooves, and spontaneous musical flourishes.

Set in the heart of Bath's live music scene, The Grapes bar can be a busy place so make sure to grab a seat early and settle in to experience The Spoonful's awesome sound. Whether you're a dedicated blues enthusiast or simply looking for an atmospheric evening of top-quality live music, this event promises to be a standout.
