In this special event Yuliia Iliukha, author of My Women (winner of BBC News Ukraine Book of the Year 2024), joins us in Bath for a rare visit from Graz, Austria. In conversation with acclaimed journalist and author Felicity Spector (Bread and War: A Ukrainian Story of Food, Bravery and Hope), they will reflect on women's lives during wartime, how culture endures under pressure, and why women's voices are essential to understanding war beyond the headlines.
