Afternoon tea

Experience the Tea Room’s traditional English "Mr. Darcy's Afternoon Tea", complete with exquisite cakes, divine finger sandwiches and delightful warm scones served with Dorset clotted cream and seasonal jam.

With bread and scones baked fresh daily by a local bakery, several traditional sandwich fillings and an assortment of miniature high tea delights, the Tea Room prides itself on its authenticity and high quality. A children’s afternoon tea is also available for young lords and ladies (children under 12 years), making the Regency Tea Room a great option for families as well.

All ingredients are sourced locally where possible, with notable Bath-based suppliers including Gillards of Bath, Bakers of Bath, Sweet Little Things and Tiptree.

Regency treats

If the afternoon tea doesn’t take your fancy, or you’re looking for a smaller bite to eat, the Tea Room offers a range of delectable regency treats: from cream teas and tea cakes to Mrs Bennett’s delicious cake of the day.

Check out the menu linked below for a full list of available treats.

Hot and cold drinks

The Regency Tea Room boasts an impressive selection of beautiful loose-leaf teas, all skilfully blended by the dedicated tea tasters at Gillards of Bath. With a mix of traditional black teas, refreshing herbals and energising fruity blends, there are plenty of options to meet a range of discerning palettes.

A fine assortment of coffees, hot chocolates and soft drinks are also available.

For guests looking to bring an additional layer of elegance to their experience, why not treat yourself to some champagne and prosecco while you dine? The tipple of your choice is available as either an upgraded afternoon tea package, or as a standalone purchase by the glass or bottle.
