A free party celebrating Carnival arts in the centre of Bath. 

Our vibrant procession transforms the streets with a colourful blending pot of Carnival culture. Expect South American drumming, Caribbean steel pan, Mardi Gras style brass, a range of traditional and contemporary dance choreorgaphy and crazy colourful costumes!

The return of the party in the park in Sydney Gardens will see a lineup of live music spanning genres from around the world, loads of fun kids activities, free workshops and a tasty selection of food and drink offerings.

The party will go on into the early hours with DJs spinning beats and breaks at the official afterparty at Moles night club.

TRAVEL ADVICE

If you're planning to travel to Bath Carnival by train please be aware that due to railway upgrades, there will be replacement services on some routes.

There will be a shuttle train service between Bristol Temple Meads and Chippenham. Buses will run between Chippenham and Swindon.

There will still be direct trains between Bath Spa and London Paddington, however they will run hourly, and non-stop between Bath and Reading via a diverted route.
