About

Help the National Trust get ready for the blossom parade at this lantern making workshop. Led by partner Ruby from Little Lost Robot, this interactive workshop will walk you through creating a lantern.

Museum of East Asian Art will also be at the event with the parade banners which you'll be able to help decorate.

Blossom lanterns will be large handheld blossoms made from willow withies and tissue paper. Book a free space to come build, decorate and have them ready to join the parade that starts straight after the workshop.

This workshop is best suited for children aged 7 and over, younger siblings not taking part won't need a ticket but are welcome - all children must be accompanied by an adult. Adult only tickets are also available for those who would like to make a lantern
