Join Morso Vegan for an immersive day of plant-based Japanese cooking, where participants will delve into the world of umami - the irresistible savory flavor that leaves you craving more. Throughout the course, attendees will learn the art of creating dishes bursting with flavor and authenticity.
The course will cover essential techniques such as perfecting sushi rice and mastering the art of sushi rolling. Participants will also gain insights into key Japanese ingredients including miso, soy sauce, shiitake mushrooms, and rice vinegar.
In addition to sushi, participants will have the opportunity to craft a variety of mouthwatering dishes, including:
Gyoza Dumplings filled with spinach, mushrooms, and water chestnuts
Miso Soup featuring tofu, seaweed, and spring onions
Goma Ae, a dish of green vegetables served with traditional Japanese sesame sauce
Okonomiyaki, a savory pancake enriched with a medley of ingredients such as aubergine, sweet potato, and squash, topped with katsu curry sauce
