About

Step into the world of a real bird keeper and discover what it takes to care for magnificent birds of prey. The Junior Bird Keeper Experience is a hands-on workshop designed for children aged 6 - 12 who are interested in birds and want to learn what life is really like behind the scenes at The Bird of Prey Project.

Work alongside experienced bird keepers and take part in genuine day-to-day keeper tasks. They learn all about the birds who live at the centre and how they are cared for, within a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment.

This hands-on experience is designed to inspire the next generation of bird keepers, conservationists, and wildlife professionals. Led by knowledgeable and experienced staff, it offers a memorable, confidence-building opportunity for curious young minds.
