About

Explore drawing the human body in a relaxed and creative environment with tutor Louise Rushford (Exhibitions & Events Manager at RRS).

Approx. 2 hours drawing time in our wonderful upstairs gallery, including quick standing poses and longer seated poses using a variety of drawing materials.

Classes will teach the student how to observe and understand the human body, as well as the use of different materials to develop their own style.

All levels are welcome; beginners will receive tuition from the start but the more experienced can simply use the opportunity to draw a model.

Life drawing is challenging but fun plus great for concentration and opening up the right side of the brain to improve creativity.

Provided:

Model and A2 Drawing boards

Materials to bring:

A2 or A3 sketch book, B, B4, B8 soft pencils, charcoal pencils, box of coloured pencils, putty rubber, sharpener, and an old cloth for blending.
