About

Before the screening senior museum curator Dr Amy Frost will talk about the building's history and share the journey the museum and Bath Preservation Trust is currently on.

Directed by Dziga Vertov, Man with a Movie Camera (1929) is widely regarded as one of the most influential films ever made. Free from narrative and actors, the film dazzles with rapid montage, inventive camera techniques and a vivid portrait of everyday Soviet life. Vertov's pioneering "kino-eye" philosophy captures the rhythm of the city, the movement of its people and the sheer magic of filmmaking itself.
