About

Join Helen Malone for a one hour talk and tour around No1 Royal Crescent looking at some of the collection and learning about the process of conserving paintings. There will be a presentation and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

Please Note: Ticket price (£12)  includes a glass of wine or soft drink alternative.

Helen White studied Fine Art before taking a post-graduate Diploma in Painting Conservation at the Courtauld Institute of Art, after which she was Mellon Fellow in the Conservation Department of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Returning to the UK she joined the NPG as a part-time conservator and at the same time set up The Conservation Studio with colleagues in North London. Helen left the latter in 1997 when she moved to Bath but continued to work part time as senior conservator at the NPG until 2018. Helen currently maintains a private studio in Bath undertaking treatments for local institutions (including the Holburne Museum and BPT) and private collections. She also carries out work, mostly on loan exhibitions, for several London galleries (NPG, V&A, RA, Dulwich PG).
