About
Traditional upholsterer and seat weaver, Felicity Tran, will guide participants in learning this beautiful heritage craft. This one-day workshop is designed so that each attendee can complete their own footstool and take it home to treasure at the end of the day. The project features a striking Herringbone-style weave on a locally handcrafted beech wood frame, using sustainable seagrass cord.
Felicity teaches in an engaging, friendly, and informal manner, with a strong focus on productivity. Participants will enjoy this mindful craft while chatting with fellow attendees in the inspiring setting of Bowood House and Gardens. Each person will leave with a sense of achievement, having created a piece of useable, professional-quality furniture.
