At Bowood House and Gardens, you can join artist and creator Marianne Donohoe for a delightful Silver Jewellery Workshop. This taster session gives you the chance to create your own unique piece of fine silver jewellery using silver clay.

During this beginner-friendly course, you will be taught how to handle, texture, cut, and shape silver clay, as well as how to store and rehydrate it. You will also learn how to fire your pieces and finally polish them to a beautiful finish.

All materials are provided to make at least two pieces of fine silver jewellery, depending on the size you create. If you would like extra clay, ear wires, jump rings, or chains, these can be purchased on the day. You are also welcome to bring your own fittings to complete your pieces.
