About

TREE is a group exhibition featuring 8 selected artists, local, national and international, who have been invited to submit artwork inspired by the relationship with arboreum friends. TREE will be curated by Louise Rushford, Exhibition Manger at RRS, and Nina Harrison-Leins, Exhibition Manger at The Holburne and include artists – Joe Byerley, Claire Clark, Rodney Harris, Florien Hazenberg, Tink Munro, Myrna Quinonez, Kirsty Thomas, Diana Zapata Mejia.

The exhibition will include paintings, sculptures and photography and be shown in The Christoph Moser Gallery at RRS, a light and airy gallery overlooking the River Avon.

To support the exhibition there will be a programme of events to inform and inspire the local community, including workshops with nearby infant and primary schools to encourage the children to be a future force for nature.

We will also be working with the charity More Trees Banes who will be sharing their environmental knowledge and care of trees in seed planting sessions with local children. To celebrate National Tree Day on May 16th, a Silver Birch, kindly donated by More Trees Banes, will be planted in our riverside garden at RRS.
