About

Louisa Burnett-Hall will be visiting from her Paris Studio on Sunday 1 February, welcoming conversation and sharing the inspirations behind her artistic practice.

Louisa sketches rivers, pools and coastlines on site, then transforms those observations in the studio using ink and acrylic, pouring and marking the surface to move between abstraction and the real. She now incorporates satellite imagery and ocean data, creating a visual language that reflects climate change, our place in nature and the urgency of caring for the planet.

Louisa Burnett-Hall is a British-born artist who moved to France after obtaining a Fine Art MA from Edinburgh University. Awarded with the Médaille de la Ville de Paris, she exhibits widely in France, the UK, Belgium and China. She lives and works in Paris.
