About

Screened in the refined surroundings of the Holburne Museum, this special event in partnership with FilmBath is part of this year's Jane Austen Festival. Your ticket includes entry to Illustrating Austen, a new exhibition exploring how artists across the centuries have brought Austen’s characters to life.

When the Dashwood sisters — pragmatic Elinor (Emma Thompson) and impulsive Marianne (Kate Winslet) — are left in reduced circumstances, they must chart a path through love, loss and polite society. Ang Lee’s acclaimed adaptation offers a nuanced, emotionally rich take on Austen’s tale of romance and resilience.

Exhibition entry from 19:00 ahead of the screening at 20:00.

Doors Open: 19:30
