The UK's No.1 Oktoberfest returns to the beautiful city of Bath!

Get ready for 2 huge days of beer, Bavarian food, live music, and festive fun as Bath Oktoberfest returns to Royal Victoria Park from 30 - 31 October 2026.

This year, they're introducing Shocktoberfest, a Halloween-themed opening night packed with spooky entertainment, immersive performances, face painting, and fancy dress fun.

Food & Drink
From traditional German beer to delicious bratwurst, this festival is bringing the heart of Bavaria to Bath. The bar will have a full drinks selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. The main beer will be a German Pilsner Lager; but there will also be other beers and ciders on tap.

Live Music & Entertainment
Enjoy a line-up of live bands playing everything from classic oompah, modern ‘Oompop’, local artists and traditional singalong anthems.

Axe Throwing
Unleash your inner Viking and try your hand at axe throwing! Other games include Stein holding contests, sausage-eating competitions, fairground activities, dancing karaoke and more.

Fancy Dress
Showcase your flair for fashion, whether you embrace the classic Bavarian look or add a modern twist! Don your best dirndl or lederhosen for a chance to win in the Oktoberfest fancy dress contest.

Tickets and booking information

Tickets on sale Friday 24th April 2026 at 10am Royal Victoria Park, Bath Friday 30th & Saturday 31st October 2026. All tickets must be purchased online before the event.

  • General Admission tickets will have additional access to the tables and benches area, where there will be unreserved seating.
  • Standing tickets will have access to just the standing area, bar, and outside area.
  • The VIP package will include a reserved table for 10 people in the VIP area. Each member of the party will get 1 drink of their choice and a meal voucher for theGerman food stall.

Where is Bath International Music Festival?

The event takes place under the big top in Royal Victoria Park, close to Royal Avenue and the Royal Crescent.

Is fancy dress compulsory?

It is not policy, although fancy dress is very much encouraged! Lederhosen are the traditional dress code; however, any fancy dress will be welcomed.

Is the festival accessible?

Oktoberfest will have disabled toilets and all doors and walkways will be wheelchair regulation width. However, please note that the event is in a marquee on a field; this means the ground may be uneven and you may have to wheel across some grass to access the big top tent. Please email the team if you have any questions or particular access needs.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this event.

Is the event family friendly?

This is an 18+ event, a Challenge 25 Policy will be operated for entry to the event and for bar service.

Will there be veggie, vegan or gluten-free options?

There will be a selection of German-style food trucks offering a variety of food, including vegan and vegetarian options.

Gluten-free and alcohol-free beer will be stocked at the bar.
