About

Get ready to party like it's 1809 at No.1 Royal Crescent's family costume ball. Don your best Regency-style dress or waistcoat and come and learn the most fashionable dances from Jane Austen's time.

Traditional garden games and craft activities will be on offer, as well as nibbles and non-alcoholic punch.

Accessories such as gloves and cravats will be available to wear at the ball. There will be a limited number of costumes to try on but they recommend coming in your own costume.

Recommended for children aged 7+. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Tickets from £3

Why not visit their exhibition "The Most Tiresome Place in the World: Jane Austen in Bath" at the same time? Ticket holders can purchase entry to the exhibition for the reduced cost of £2.50 for adults. Children can visit the exhibition for free with a paying adult.

Exhibition tickets will be available to purchase on the day. Simply show your ball tickets to a member of staff to receive the discounted rate.
