About

Come and celebrate UK Fungus Day 2025 at the University of Bath with an expert led fungal foray, refreshments, and activities!

Setting off from the Milner Centre for our foray and stroll along public footpaths to a nearby woodland. Along the way, you'll learn how to identify different fungi, explore safe foraging practices, and help record the mushrooms we encounter. Whether you're a seasoned mycologist, a keen enthusiast, or a complete beginner, all are welcome! Please note: this foray is primarily for recording purposes and to explore the fascinating fungal kingdom. While edible fungi will be discussed, foraging for food is not the main focus of the event.

Following the foray, there will be refreshments and fungal- themed activities at the Milner Centre social space.

Tickets are free.
