Bowood House, a stunning example of Georgian architecture, is hosting a series of talks led by Dr. Lizzie Rogers, Curator and historian specialising in women’s history and historic houses.
Dr. Rogers will guide visitors through the Georgian period, offering insights into the lives, ideas, and experiences of young women of the era. She will also explore the enduring influence of Jane Austen and how her work continues to shape perceptions of this fascinating period for women.
The talks promise to be both entertaining and educational, drawing on Dr. Rogers’ expertise as a writer and historian.
