About

Join No.1 Royal Crescent for the monthly children's creative workshops. Led by local artists, these fun and engaging sessions introduce participants to various ways of making art!

5 October: Clay Busts

10am – 12pm

Children can learn to create their own ceramic busts reminiscent of Georgian ladies or gentlemen. Participants will explore the figures portrayed in the sculptures, how they emphasized their importance, and how we convey importance in modern portraits. This workshop is accessible for all ages, and attendees will leave with their own sculpture creation!

Suitable for ages 8-14.

Important Info:

Children are encouraged to attend independently; please reach out if this presents a barrier to attendance.

Sessions take place in the Servant's Hall during museum open hours. The room is wheelchair accessible, and a disabled toilet is nearby.

Parents may wish to visit the museum and take advantage of the annual pass. Several cafes are within a 5-minute walk.
