About
Badminton House Summer Open Garden Day
Step into the spectacular gardens of Badminton House, the historic home of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort.
Exclusively opened to the public just three times each year, this rare summer opening offers visitors the chance to explore the private grounds in a completely different season, as the gardens reach their early summer peak.
Wander through a stunning display of roses, peonies, foxgloves, geraniums and vibrant herbaceous borders, all set within the beautiful parkland. Meet the dedicated gardening team who care for these remarkable grounds and are on hand throughout the day to share their knowledge and answer your questions.
Visitors can also witness some of the badmintons famous filming locations from Netflix The Gentleman, Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte, The Seven Dials and many more.
As the future venue of the RHS Badminton Flower Show, this is a unique opportunity to enjoy a special preview of the gardens ahead of this exciting new event, and to discover their rich horticultural heritage.
Alongside the gardens, visitors can browse a carefully curated selection of artisan stallholders, including Gardeners' World exhibitors and RHS medal winners.
Food and drink will be available throughout the day, including a café serving tea, coffee and light refreshments.
Visitors can also enjoy a special exhibition A Garden of Botanical Art, originally commissioned by the 1st Duchess of Beaufort, on display in the Old Hall of Badminton House.
