About
The Robert Brian Quartet is a high-octane collision of jazz heritage and future-forward groove. They don't just play jazz; they dismantle it, fusing Funk, Latin, and heavy Drum & Bass into a sound that is as sophisticated as it is raw.
At the helm is Grammy-winning drummer Robert Brian. After a career spanning the top tier of the music industry, this quartet marks Rob's return to his core obsession: jazz. His inventive, surgical rhythm provides the heartbeat for an ensemble that thrives on the edge of tight arrangements and fearless improvisation.
The lineup is a powerhouse of seasoned talent: Mat Sibley on tenor sax, John-Paul Gard on keys and synths, and Paul Jefferies on upright and electric bass. Together, they bridge the gap between classic groove and modern grit, delivering a live experience built for jazz purists and adventurous music fans alike.
