Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park

About

The whole family can enjoy a day of fun and adventure at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park. With over 90 acres to explore, there are hours of fun to be had all year round, whatever the weather!

From duck feeding and pony grooming to tortoise handling and guinea pig cuddling, join animal handling sessions to meet Avon Valley’s animals and learn more about them. For more wildlife fun, stroll around the enclosures to find rare breed and exotic species including reindeer, wallabies, alpacas and pygmy goats. If you follow the riverside trail, you’ll find fun obstacles to tackle along the way.

On sunny days explore the adventure playground which features eight towers, rope bridges, zip wires and toddler area complete with a sandpit. Test yourself on the go-cart track, toddler trike arena and boulder dash wall, and take on the big red slide if you dare! Visit the boating lake, take a ride on the South West’s longest five-inch miniature railway, join a tractor tour, or ride in a carriage drawn by Avon Valley’s magnificent shire horses.

On wet days the indoor play area will keep children entertained for hour. From slides, rope swings and a canon area to a toddler village there is plenty to do for children of all ages.

Stop tummies rumbling at the Woodland Café which serves homemade meals, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and paninis as well as a selection of snacks, ice-creams and drinks. You’ll find plenty of picnic areas across the park and BBQ areas (during the summer months) too.
