Framptons is an independent cafe, bar and kitchen, located in the historic Empire Grand Building on Grand Parade.
Open all day and evening, Framptons caters for everyone and offers a fresh and seasonal menu using locally sourced produce.
From the bar you can choose from a wide range of ales, lagers, ciders and an innovative cocktail menu. Most interesting of all is the Czech beer held in giant tanks elevated five metres high behind the bar.
The design of the site is rooted in the original features of the building including old fireplaces, oak floors and stunning windows looking onto the weir and Pulteney Bridge.
Complementing the original charm of the building is a mixture of retro and art deco decoration that sets a unique and elegant style. On the main wall of the bar area is a sign-written timeline of the sites history and as you pass through a bookcase to the restaurant side, you'll find an open theatre kitchen and beautiful suspended chandelier.
This truly is a unique, must-see venue which is popular day and night.
