About

Badminton Horse Trials are return from 7 - 11 May 2025.

The event is staged within the beautiful grounds of the Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire. The first day of the event boasts an array of over 500 tradestands opening for business, the international competition kicking off with the 'First Horse Inspection' in the afternoon. Day one is also when the Grassroots Championships (national finals for BE90 and BE100 horses & riders, which includes dressage, showjumping and cross-country) and the Young Event Horse Class take place.

The International event continues with Dressage on days two and three where visitors can also enjoy the expert dressage display. The Stallion parade is an added bonus to visitors in the main arena. The weekend crowds at Badminton enjoy the Shetland Pony Grand National in the main arena before the thrills and spills of the Cross Country phase starts. Sunday is the culmination of the International competition, and is a Show Jumping test over knock down arena jumps. This annual spectacle offers a great day out for all the family (including dogs!), where great hospitality options, shopping, top level equestrian sport and more can be enjoyed in a stunning location.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, including car parking.
