Christmas Shopping

Christmas Shopping

It’s easy to see why Bath is a number one destination with Christmas shoppers. Set against a distinctive Georgian backdrop, Bath offers an unusual mix of quality independent shops, designer boutiques and high street brands all within walking distance of each other.

Bath’s annual Christmas Market takes place from 23 November to 10 December and features over 200 twinkling wooden chalets in the picturesque streets of Bath. This very British festive market offers handmade artisan wares and beautiful gifts, from Christmas decorations and delicious foodie morsels to toys and festive tipples. You’ll find glass gifts and decorations, ceramics and pottery, plus lots of local produce, ales and premium liqueurs. We're proud to say that over 80% of the traders are from Bath and the South West.

At the very heart of the market itself will be the Lodge, a cosy indoor venue reminiscent of a rustic snow lodge, located on Stall Street.

One of the easiest ways to travel to Bath is by train. Book your tickets with Visit Bath’s lead travel partner Great Western Railway now.
