About

Join FilmBath at the Holburne Museum — a setting straight out of Austen’s pages — for a screening of this 1990s classic as part of the Jane Austen Festival. Your ticket includes access to the new exhibition Illustrating Austen, marking the 250th anniversary of Austen’s birth. Discover the artists who’ve shaped how we imagine her world—from Regency-era prints to modern interpretations.

Handsome, clever, and rich — Emma Woodhouse believes herself the perfect matchmaker, but meddling in the lives of her friends proves far more complicated than she imagines. Gwyneth Paltrow stars in this thoughtful and elegant adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel, balancing wit, romance and social observation.

Exhibition entry from 16:30 ahead of the screening at 17:30.

Tickets: £20
