Pub Quizzes

Taking part in a pub quiz is a great way to spend an evening getting to know a pub or two and its locals. Here are some of our favourite pubs in the area where you can put your knowledge to the test…

The Cork
This popular general knowledge quiz is held every Sunday at 8pm with Quiz Master Fitz. Entry is just £1 per person with a maximum team size of six. The first prize is a £50 bar tab, with a runner up prize of a bottle of house wine. Food is available throughout the quiz too.

Bath Brew House
Join the Brew House for Trivia Tuesdays! This popular quiz night runs from 7:30-9:30pm every Tuesday. No booking is required, but it's first-come-first-served, so worth getting there early to grab a seat. Entry is £1 per person, with a maximum of six people per team. There's prizes for the top three teams, and a mystery prize for the team who comes last! Please contact Bath Brew House for quiz dates over the Christmas and January period.

Pig & Fiddle
A Bath pub institution at 22 years old, the Pig and Fiddle has lots of loyal and local regulars, but always welcomes new faces. With sports memorabilia all over the walls and a large beer garden or cosy fire depending on the weather, pop in for a pint and some pub grub and you'll end up staying all afternoon or evening!
Take part in the Pig Quiz every Monday from 8pm. Entry is £2 and don’t forget to bring your brain! Prizes to be won. 

The Hop Pole
Head to the Hop Pole on Mondays at 8pm to join in with their popular quiz. Entry is £1.50 per person with a maximum team size of six. With spot prizes each week, a winner takes all cash-pot prize and bingo to follow afterwards, it’s always a fun event to get involved with. Food is served until 9pm.

The Boater quiz night

The Boater
The Boater's Grade II listed building is perfecly placed between the famous Pulteney Bridge and Great Pulteney Street. Mixing this heritage with a modern ale list and British menu served alongside pub classics and daily specials, this weir-side bar and terrace is the place to be.
Join in with the 'Brains of Bath' quiz night every Thursday at 8pm. Only £1 entry and the winner takes the pot!
