Family Friendly

Bath and beyond has plenty of fun activities guaranteed to keep all ages entertained.

Cheddar Gorge  offers great activities for children, such as cave quests, kids’ audio guides, hands-on cave painting and more. Bath Racecourse also offers dedicated family fun days during the racing season (April to October), with under-18s enjoying free entry to any racing fixture.

Bath’s city centre attractions are great for days out with the kids too: the whole family can enjoy the Roman Baths at an age-appropriate pace, with children’s audio guides available and costumed characters to guide you through the Roman ways of life. There's always something fun going on at the Theatre Royal’s award winning egg theatre, aimed exclusively at families, teenagers and young children. While some members of your group take part in a show or workshop, the egg's family friendly cafe is a calm but vibrant chill-out zone, offering a safe play area and comfortable baby changing and feeding facilities.

Bath also has plenty of family friendly accommodation and places to eat too, so it's safe to say that this heritage city is most definitely a family affair!
